The Gordon Research Seminar on Nuclear Chemistry is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The focus of this meeting is to provide an environment for the future leaders in nuclear science to come together to develop and strengthen collaborations with each other through discussion/presentation of their cutting-edge research in areas of nuclear structure, reactions, and astrophysics. A career panel discussion will provide the participants with the opportunity to meet selected leaders in academia, industry, and the national laboratories and discuss the process of obtaining permanent positions in those areas.
