The Gordon Research Seminar on Adhesion, Science of is a unique forum for graduate students, post-docs, and other scientists with comparable levels of experience and education to present and exchange new data and cutting edge ideas.
The 2013 seminar will cover a wide range of topics such as friction, wetting and molecular mechanisms of adhesion, soft matter mechanics and physics, bio-inspired adhesives, and the use of quantitative approaches to understand adhesion in biological systems. The aim of this meeting is to promote discussions and potential collaborations between young scientists from diverse backgrounds, due to the interdisciplinary nature of adhesion and interface science.
