ICBMR 2017 theme is “Deglobalization: Challenges for Emerging Countries”. This theme was chosen since currently there are significant changes in the political world, such as Brexit and political changes in the US that leads to deglobalization. This early process of deglobalization is bringing impact to emerging countries. These changes create a challenge for emerging countries to remain its competitiveness in the world market. To that end, the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Indonesia, in particular the Department of Management through its research institutes, namely Management Research Centre is determined to contribute positively to allow Indonesia to take advantage of the challenges posed into various business opportunities. Through ICBMR prestigious event this year, we expect to obtain various inputs and studies that can provide insights for policy makers, businesses and the scientific developments in the country. Earlier MRC had conferences held at Bali, Jakarta, Seoul, Ho Chin Minh, Kyoto, and Lombok.

ICBMR  is a organized with a motivation to provide an excellent international platform for the academicians, researchers and budding students around the world to share their research findings and to find international linkage for future collaborations in  the areas of Finance, Banking, Capital Market, Islamic Finance, Accounting, Actuary, International Business, Sharia, Economics, Marketing, Islamic Marketing, Organization/HRD Management, Strategic Management, Innovation Management, General Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Management Information Systems, and Regional Economic Integration and Competitiveness. We also encourage academics to submit cross-disciplinary research in the above areas.

Proceeding

All full papers are published at the conference proceedings with ISBN and proposed to be indexed by Thomson Reuters Conference Proceedings Citation Index (CPCI).

Journal Prizes

Two outstanding papers will be selected for publication in the Asian Journal of Business and Accounting (AJBA) a   Scopus, Web of Science Emerging Sources Citation Index ERA 2012, Asean Citation Index, MYCite indexed journal. Six others outstanding paper will be selected for publication in The South East Asian Journal of Management, ASEAN Marketing Journal, and Indonesian Capital Market Review indexed by EBSCO, ESCI, DOAJ, Google scholar and Indonesian Higher Education Ministry (DIKTI).
