An Unmissable International Pediatric Conference at the Heart of Europe

Now in its 9th year, the Excellence in Pediatrics Conference will once again be a truly collaborative event designed for the benefit of frontline pediatric HCPs from across Europe and around the world. The 2017 Conference takes place from the 7-9 December in Vienna, Austria.

EIP, working in partnership with the WHO’s Health Behaviour in School-aged Children (HBSC) Programme, and a host of other associations, will host a joint meeting that offers the best available practical advice and education to all pediatric and adolescent healthcare professionals attending. The Conference’s ultimate goal is that by the end of the meeting delegates will be better prepared for the changing treatment and advice demands that they are facing from the children, adolescents and families they support.

In terms of programme design, the 2017 conference builds on the success of the 8th edition and is structured around a number of sub-sections (groups of 3-4 presentations) covering that latest developments, trends and practice changes. This mean that delegates can pick and choose the most relevant sessions to create personalised conference agenda from over 75 hours of conference content.

At the heart of the program is the concept of active learning and to this end there is an eclectic mix of hands-on session formats from medical workshops and practical examination to publishing and leadership professional development short courses. Plus, new for 2017 will be a number of Master Courses (3-hour multi-speaker sessions) covering sub sections of pediatrics in-depth - limited to 40 participants, but included in the main conference fees.
